My RIGS
My DOORMAT FLUKE RIGS™
are 'Tandem' style (2 hooks per rig - 1 Hi-1 Lo) made with 'laser' sharp 4/0 or 3/0* Gamakatsu® Octopus hooks,
40lb test clear leader, come with a #2 - 230lb Spro® Power Swivel and a
FREE 'fish finder' sinker slide!
*(3/0 hooks will only be used on Hi loop if loop is made too small - otherwise both hooks will be 4/0)
Since ALL rigs are hand tied, no two rigs will be exactly alike* - although they will be quite similar.
*(I may, on occasion, substitute beads or a spinner if I do not have or can't get the exact type any longer.
Please keep in mind that you may NOT receive the exact, actual rig that is shown in the picture for that reason.)

**Super Glow 'Spinners' can hold a light charge & glow for hours if charged with light for several minutes before use.
Super Glow 'Beads' outlast 'normal' glow beads for a considerably longer time frame.
(As per manufacturer's claims. I tried both and they last quite long.)
These rigs are 'eye-candy' for us humans yet they seem to work quite well with the fluke too.
I've experimented with the following colors:
chartreuse, pink, white, silver, green, red, yellow, orange, gold, blue, purple, black, etc.
Different colors work on different days,
but my rigs always seem to catch more fish than the next angler!

"It wasn't until three years ago that I realized people were talking about me on
the boat. I would receive evil glares and hear from friends that some of
the other regulars hated it when I was on the boat fishing with them.
I couldn't understand why someone would talk about me behind
my back or dislike me for any reason ... but I found out why!
It was because I was winning so many boat pools. It seemed every time one
of the regulars got a nice fish and thought they had the pool 'locked up',
I would take it from them with a larger fish. This was becoming routine.
So many times I hear "O great - Chris is on the boat" - sarcastically of course.
Over the last three or so years since I started making my Doormat Fluke Rigs™,
I have been winning pools on party boats left and right - from Freeport to
Montauk. Since I began fishing regularly for fluke around 6-7 years ago,
